Practical guide

Six questions.
A better starting point.

A preparation guide for discussing your finishing line, with links to the published machine specifications.

01

What is the bag structure?

Identify three-side sealed, stand-up zipper, die-cut or middle-sealed bags. For inspection, provide material structure, printing and transparency. Confirm suitability with actual sample testing rather than assuming that only transparent bags, or all bag materials, are supported.

02

What are the minimum and maximum dimensions?

Provide both dimensions, the bag outline and any zipper or gusset. Do not select on size alone.

03

How does the bag exit the machine?

Describe cutter arrangement, infeed orientation and channel count. Confirm cutter and infeed compatibility for the selected model; do not assume a cutting arrangement applies to all configurations.

04

How fast must the complete line run?

Provide actual cuts per minute and bags per bundle. State whether reversing is required. Use the selected machine rating rather than a general rejection-mode ceiling; the middle-sealed machine is published at 120 cuts/min.

05

What must be rejected?

Choose whole-row sideways ejection if losing good pouches in an affected row is acceptable, or targeted single-pouch air ejection if those good pouches must be retained. Separately identify what inspection is needed: film joints, insects or other defects. Detectable defects depend on the inspection equipment, not the rejection mechanism.

06

What is the downstream arrangement?

Describe binding and stacking expectations, available space and the existing equipment interface.
