Which pouch formats does CUCKOO serve?
The current brief lists three-side sealed, stand-up, zipper, eight-side sealed, center-sealed, four-side sealed, pet-food and rice-pouch applications. Final compatibility depends on the selected model and actual pouch sample.
What changed between the 2025 and 2026 basic versions?
The 2025 version is listed without motorized main-unit shift and lifting. The 2026 version adds motorized main-unit shift and fully electric lifting for the main unit and stacker.
What are the six configurations?
The SB and ZL series list Standard, Guided Rejection, Die-cut Standard, Die-cut Guided Rejection, Precision Rejection and Die-cut Precision Rejection. Standard versions have no rejection. Guided Rejection uses whole-row sideways ejection; Precision Rejection uses targeted single-pouch air ejection. The Basic machine has 2025 / 2026 editions; the middle-sealed machine lists Standard and Guided Rejection options, not six versions.
How does ultrasonic joint detection work?
It monitors small thickness changes in single-layer film without touching the film. The factory default trigger threshold is a thickness difference over 0.003 mm.
What conditions are required for ultrasonic detection?
Keep the film flat, taut, centered and parallel through the sensing window. Keep the probe clean and avoid strong vibration. Confirm film structure, including any laminate, and the meaning of the specified single-layer condition with CUCKOO using actual samples; do not assume that all materials are compatible.
How does insect foreign-matter inspection work?
A high-speed optical imaging system captures insect foreign objects inside pouches, marks defective products and outputs a rejection signal. Pouches must pass flat, individually and without overlap through the camera station. Confirm inspection performance for the actual pouch material, printing and transparency using samples.
What is the difference between bundle and single-pouch rejection?
Bundle Automatic Rejection pushes the whole affected row sideways into a chute and collection box; good pouches in that row are rejected too. Precision Rejection uses a targeted air jet to remove only the identified defective pouch into the reject bin; good pouches continue to separate collection. Inspection equipment supplies the defect signal. The general mode ceiling is up to 300 cuts/min, but the selected machine rating takes priority: the middle-sealed machine is published at 120 cuts/min.
